MASSAGE TIPS
Do not eat at least an hour before. You do not want to lie on a stomach too full of food. That can be uncomfortable.
Arrive 10-15 minutes early if it is your first massage. This will give you time to complete paperwork.
Also if you arrive early you can begin relax before your massage. When you are rushing and possibly running late it adds stress before your massage begins.
If you have time before your massage, please shower. If not, try not to get a massage on a very sweaty, smelly day.
If you don’t need a shower, but possibly have shoes that are smelly, just do a quick wash of the feet.
Do not worry about rough feet, we don’t care about that, at least I don’t. You can always schedule a foot scrub massage.
If you are a smoker, please do not smoke an hour – 2 hours prior to the massage. The smoke will be in your clothes and skin and we can smell it.
If you feel any pain or if a therapist is not providing enough pressure, please let the therapist know. You will not be offending them. This is your time and you should enjoy it and have it the way you want it.
If you are sore after a massage, take a hot bath with Epsom salt.
