Do you sometimes feel like screaming?
Actually, instead of holding back that scream of frustration, let it out. Of course I don't mean in a room full of people or even outside with a bunch of people around. Instead of relaxing, you will probably cause a riot or scare some people.
Find a place and just let it out!
I know you need to relax. Gas prices are ridiculous among many other things. Your boss is getting on your nerves, seriously. are you feeling on edge, just a little?
Here's another tip, breathing.
Yea, yea, you do this every second of your life. I'm talking about as a relaxation technique.
This works for me, so do what's best for you.
What type of music makes you relax? Put on some relaxing music. Turn off all phones and tvs, computers, etc.
Lie down or sit in a chair, whatever you want. Close your eyes. Don't worry about your problems, they will be there when you open your eyes, unfortunately. Smile.....
Inhale through your nose. Exhale through your mouth. don't force the exhalation. Let it out with enough force that you feel it throughout your whole body.
Do this 4-5 times at least. Try it. It's free. Do it often, it really works.
